“If you want to see God’s smile, believe Him.”

-Nocky Alvarizares

Apostle Nocky was born in Guatemala and raised in a Christian home.  At age nine, she received Jesus as Lord and Savior and was filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.  At age 16, she moved to California.  She married Victor Alvarizares at age 20 and will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary in 2019.  She worked as a preschool teacher for thirteen years.  She received her doctorate in Theology and a license in Missions.

In 1999 she moved to Portland, Oregon with her family.  God led them to start a church in an apt. home with 8 people.  Now, twenty years later, Nocky and Victor enjoy being apostles to Casa del Padre (Father’s House) and overseers of churches.  She has traveled to Asia, Central America, South America, Europe and throughout the United States sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and raising up strong women to fight the good fight.

She has two children, Caroline and Justin, who also serve in the ministry.  Vision 5000 is an assignment for this time where she believes her bilingual congregation in Portland will be part of the manifestation of the glory of the last times. She also believes that she “has been called to the kingdom for a time such as this” (Esther 4:14) to equip the saints for the work of the ministry.
